Under the Pensions Act 2008, every employer in the UK must put certain staff into a pension scheme and contribute towards it. This is called ‘automatic enrolment’. By 2019 it is likely that all employers will need to comply with the regulations for new employees as soon as the employment starts but you may already be obliged to do so depending on the number of employees.
PFN Payroll have a number of services available to help with this obligation and can handle the payments and administrative burden with the Pensions Regulator and the pension provider (NEST). If you’re late in setting things up, we also offer a catch-up service where we bring you back into compliance with the regulator.> More about our AUTO ENROLMENT services
