Yes, but only for 3 months. However, please note that employees whose automatic enrolment you’ve
postponed can still choose to opt in to your pension scheme during the postponement period, effectively
negating your postponement. This request must be actioned in the month your employee requests to opt in.
On the last day of the postponement period, we will need to assess any member of staff whose automatic
enrolment you’ve postponed to see if they are still eligible to be automatically enrolled. If they are, they must be enrolled into a pension scheme straight away. You cannot apply a further period of postponement. You will not have to pay contributions until the postponement ends unless your employee opts in before this date.
